Specialty contractor located in northwest suburban Chicago, is seeking its next Controller. We have 100 +/- field, shop and office employees.

The Controller is an integral member of our executive team. Your role on the executive team will be to provide financial and strategic leadership, generate confidence in our abilities with our stakeholders, and lead a professional administrative staff.
A few of the key responsibilities include:
Timely and reasonably accurate monthly financial statements
Monthly Work in Process and Job Analyses
Cash and other financial forecasts
Supervision of Human Resources/Payroll
Manage 401k safe harbor plan
Manage liability and other insurance program
Develop and maintain banking, surety, insurance and legal relationships
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
5 or more years of experience in the construction industry
Management or supervisory experience
Strong interpersonal skills
CPA or MBA is a plus
This position is available to the right person due to the pending retirement of the current CFO.
