Systems integration between construction software and overall organization’s ERP
Streamline processes for all construction through use of technology
Maximizes return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
Management of all Company Purchase Cards & Supplier’s Credit Cards
Experience in collaboration and communication with CPA firm
Experience with reviewing and maintaining construction contracts
Risk Management – monitoring and maintaining current records of subcontractor’s certificates of insurance
Complete end of year worker’s compensation and other insurance audits
Work with construction project managers to accurately project cash flow management
Guides financial decisions and protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external auditors and internal leadership team.
Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data and trends.
Maintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Maintains financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job cost reporting, payroll, cash flow management, insurance program and lien waiver process.
Maintain general ledgers and all supporting journals and reconciliations
Plan, direct, organize and schedule the monthly draw process
Assist the CFO with financial projects/tasks as needed
Review monthly financial statements and supplemental reports to facilitate monthly management review and decision making, including the month-end closing process to ensure results are timely and accurate.
Coordinate quarterly accounting reviews and assist in tax audits and returns.
Accurate and timely weekly & monthly reporting for internal and external parties for construction projects

Bachelor Degree in Business/Accounting/Finance from accredited post-secondary institution
8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in construction or manufacturing industries
Demonstrates proven intimate knowledge levels of, and success in roles directing and leading construction project managers
Experience in preparing and reviewing G702/G703 pay applications
Possess an understanding of U.S. GAAP and Internal Controls
Experience with budgeting and cost accounting
Experience with ERP systems Preferrably: Procore, Sage 100 and report tools (e.g. Crystal Reports, Liberty Reports)
Able to collaborate and communicate across the business; Capable building professional relationships with leaders and external networks; Excellent customer service orientation; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously; Laser focus attention to detail with the discipline to ensure accurate and quality work;
Additional Salary Information: up to $90K annually based upon experience.
