Prepare and complete day-to-day contract and T&M transactions. Assist and support the Project Managers in the day-to-day administrative and accounting duties required for job costing and billing. Experience
Minimum three years experience in the Accounts Receivable in construction management procedures with contract and T&M billing. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word.
Experience using Timberline/Sage 300 Construction.
Typical Duties could include:
Prepare and process contract, Time & Material (T&M), and T&M Not-To-Exceed billings including Waivers of Lien and associated documents.
Post payments to customers’ accounts.
Maintain all aspects of project information in Timberline accounting and/or master project files.
Prepare, enter, and distribute client purchase orders.
Set up jobs and related budgets in Timberline software.
Other duties Perform job related payroll entry as needed.
Assist with answering the telephone and receiving visitors.
Assist Project Managers in researching job information
Maintain subcontractor contracts and ensure insurance compliance of subcontractors.
Close jobs according to established procedure.
Maintain project records and prepare applicable reports as requested by the Project Manager.
Experience with Sage 300 Construction & Real Estate/Timberline.
Problem solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communications skills.
A basic level of knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
Preferably knowledgeable of construction management principles and procedures.
