The Role: V.P. of Corporate Development and Financial Planning
Reports directly to the Chairman and Chief Investment Officer overseeing the organization’s financial planning and investment portfolio as well as its financial relationship with lending institutions, shareholders, and the financial community by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers. Responsibilities: • Oversees investment opportunities and deal flow. • Oversees and directs budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, and long range forecasting for the investment division. • Directs and oversees the control of the funds, securities, and assets of the investment division. • Appraises the organization’s financial position and issues timely statements on organization’s financial stability, liquidity, and growth. • Analyzes, consolidates, and directs all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports. • Directs and analyzes studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization’s policies and operations. • Analyzes market factors impacting the company and determines financial implications. • Evaluates and recommends business opportunities. • Establishes and maintains contacts with stockholders, financial institutions, and the investment community. • Other duties as assigned.
