We are a high-energy specialty contractor looking to fill a position in our Austin office with a team member that is focused on relationships and building a solid business through accurate and professional accounting systems. This person will be responsible for all company accounting functions including: - Balancing and reconciliations of all accounts. - Monthly and quarterly financial reporting - Supervising payroll and job cost accounting teams. - Establishing and maintaining company accounting and job cost procedures. - Establish and maintain financial recoveries and allocation. - Participate in the development of and support the company’s strategic plans - Monitor the financial performance of the company - Compile and analyze financial reporting packages - Prepare monthly and annual operating budgets - Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures - Communicate financial metrics to senior management - Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments - Manage the preparation of payroll for personnel - Keep up-to-date on current HR trends - Other duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates will possess the following: - CPA prefered. - Accounting degree or applicable work experience in the accounting field. - Proficient in accounting programs. - Proficient in all Microsoft Office products. - Experience working with specialty or general contractors. - Impeccable organizational skills - Self-motivated and self-directed.
